but just call me Churchill ... or Tissie if you're from Southport, NC.
I was born in New Bern, Nc, but spent most of my growing up years in Southport. Fabulous little town and a great place to be a kid.
Now I live in the higjhlands of Mexico right smack in the
middle of the elbow. I love writing, oil painting,
digital artwork and photography, and gardening.
I have been painting since I was 17. Started writing in school, of course, and enjoyed that, too. I find that now, after living life for a while, I tend to paint my books and write my paintings. I can't just sit down and write, I need inspiration. My inspiration for A Mexican Sonata, was my friend, Carmen, who grew up in Guadalajara. Incredible person. My inspiration for Hilton Head was my sisters, and how sibling rivalry never seems to totally disapper. It's been fun. I hope you tune in and enjoy my short stuff here, too.
